The awesome Parkland backpacks are not only made from recycled plastic bottles, they're donating a percentage of every purchase to one awesome charity
We're big fans of Parkland Bags, the label making the affordable, great-looking, eco-friendly backpacks that you might have noticed all over our back-to-school shopping guide this year. They're all made from recycled water bottles, which already puts them way up on our list of favorite back-to-school gear brands. Plus they're sturdy and frankly, very cute. But seeing who they're partnering with on a give-back program  right now, we just became even bigger fans. Now through August 15, every purchase you make on Parkland's website donates 10% to From One Hand to AnOTHER, Pharrell Williams' 10-year-old educational non profit that he founded along with his mom, Dr. Carolyn Williams to help support at-risk and low-income kids in need. (We can't resist a man who loves kids and loves his mom!)

So while you're picking out a new backpack for your own kid for back-to-school season, consider one from Parkland that gives back to another kid who could use a little educational support, too. A few favorites if you need some help, because there is a lot to love. parkland backpacks and bags give back to Pharrell Williams' educational nonprofit Parkland backpacks in new medieval dragon print -The cool new vintage looking coated backpacks and duffels  in black and baby pink. -The super hip medieval dragon print backpacks in lots of sizes. -The Daisy Atlantic pattern (also at top) that's on trend with all the floral clothes and gear we're seeing this year. -The high-volume Westland backpack in camo that's a great laptop bag or gym bag for kids toting uniforms. -The smaller Edison pack in a robot pattern we featured in our guide to 25 favorite backpacks for preschool and little kids. There are accessories too, including new convertible wet bags/backpacks that I've checked out in person, and not only do they fold up compactly, but they're far sturdier and better quality than others I've seen. Parkland backpacks: New Rio mini backpack in lots of colors and patterns But my absolute fave: I loooove the new Rio mini backpacks that everyone is wearing as a purse alternative these days. In fact, you'll see my own daughter carrying one from Parkland this year in the vaguely goth Atomic Maroon floral print. And she tends to hate everything but solid black these days. Hey, change is good. Right now through 8/15/18, purchase any of the Parkland bags, backpacks, or accessories on their website and 10% will be automatically donated to support From One Hand to AnOTHER.
