I've just discovered the cutest new handbag, The Kinsley Kat, and it's likely to be pouncing to the top of a few of our accessory wish lists for spring. Designer Sylvia Soo created this adorable clutch for her young niece, but its understated styling (and not so understated price) makes it a lot more versatile than your average tween/teen animal accessory. I can picture it as a clutch that complements a little black dress for a full-grown woman with more whimsical style, but it could also look great worn with the optional strap and jeans if you're going for a more everyday look.
I also love that Sylvia handcrafts each product in her small Edmonton studio, so like all pets, each Kinsley Kat is one-of-a-kind.
And if cats aren't your bag, you might like the just-as-sweet Ruby Bear -- same idea, different ears.
We should mention that at 4.5" by 7", these bags are definitely more for style than carrying much more than credit cards, your license and a spare $20. So unless you're a minimalist ninja mom or Marie Kondo, you may only be using this purse for special occasions. But then again, who doesn't need a good excuse for a date night?
